近年來，揭陽陸地經濟規模加快增長，2024年全市陸地生產總值為452億元，同比增長19.4%。惠來縣是揭陽陸地經濟發展的主戰場，今朝惠來臨港產業園已落戶企業40家、總投資達1800億元，海上風電、氫能儲能、陸地牧場、海工裝備等陸地經濟產業加快集聚。
